Why is dating so hard in California? (LA)
I keep hearing it's much easier on the east coast so it has me thinking. Is it because we live spread out? Also, people go to places like LA to "make it" often by themselves. So you have a bunch of people by themselves, starting over at 28, 35, 45...... everybody concerned with reputation and being a "star" or making a 6 figure salary. End up with illegitimate kids with someone who skips town or skips child support payments, after a wild night of drinking then the hotel lay up..... instagram pics with filters to hide the tears in your life from ambitions unfufilled and 50 looming around the corner.
There are so many elements in California that can set you up for a life of lonileness. I think the weather lulls most people to sleep and that's why those years slip by. I think Florida has the same dynamics but the cities are more compact so more socializing goes on plus the beaches are warmer so you can actually socialize on the beach in your undies

I know you know what I mean. It's truly ridiculous. I definitely have plans to move. The only people making quality connections are from somewhere else and are extensively traveling. Or they are the type who is fine with living in the same neighborhood for 10+ years raising a kid and making that their sole focus in life
